Welcome to the room that holds a couple of the pieces of work by me - ShadowLight. This is my work,
no one else's. Please do NOT take it from this page. The things placed here are for your viewing pleasure,
that's all. I place them here in hopes that you will leave them here and not claim them for your own. You can get
around the rooms here by clicking the links at the bottom of the page - as per usual. Please sign my book.
I'd love to know what you thought. Now, onto the good stuff!

This piece was something I created upon a whim. A friend of mine - who loves all of my work - mentioned she had placed one of my other pieces up as her wallpaper. She said it was a bit small, but she was going
to leave it up anyway. So - I created this for her. Of course - her version is much bigger - 800x600 - but I didn't feel I needed to place something that large here. You can see the details just as well in the small version. It
is currently untitled, but I'm pondering calling it - The Guardian Moon. |
I made this from a tutorial sent by Laura of Laura's List. The idea was to create a stained glass window and to be able to see what was behind the window. I admit - I detoured from the tutorial quite a bit. I
am not a fan of gold, so I chose other colors - and silver. The picture behind the glass is off center on purpose. Have you ever seen a perfectly centered person behind a window? Not usually. So, here it is. I rather like the
way it turned out - despite the fact that my glass is nearly opaque. Ah well. Live and learn, I suppose. |

The image seen in the headers of these pages is from a work called "Marian" by Jonation Earl Bowser.
I did not create it, I have merely used it as part of the graphics here on this site.
Please visit his site by clicking on the banner below. He is an amazing artist and I love his work.
All graphics and words here are 1997-2001 to ShadowLight unless otherwise stated. Please be kind
