Welcome to the room that holds a couple of the pieces of work by Jean Pierre Targete. This is his work, not mine. Please do NOT take it from this page.
I have resized the two pieces here, as well as added a border to each. They are otherwise unchanged. If you wish to see more of his work, you can click on one
of the pieces or you can click here - Jean Pierre Targete. This will open in a new
window - as will clicking upon his paintings. Please visit his site. His artwork is amazing. You can get around the rooms here by clicking the links at the bottom
of the page - as per usual. If you visit his page, please come back to see me. I love visitors. Now, onto the good stuff!

This piece by Targete is called The Hand of Oberon. It was a book cover piece, so his site said. He talks about the use of lighting underneath the picture.
I love this piece - magic blended with technology. Really makes you think. 'Tis a truly unqiue piece of work. |
This piece by Targete is called simpley Iapetus. I am unsure what it means, but I am assuming it is the name of hte book the painting was a cover for. Targete talks about being stuck
in the seventies and eighties with this picture - but he's right. Star Wars and the like had an influence on us all. Science Fiction wouldn't be what it is today without such things. I like this
piece because it evokes those earlier sci-fi movies. |

Please visit his site by clicking on the banner below. He is an amazing artist and I love his work.
