Welcome to my soul. How have you liked your journey so far? I hope the guide you were assigned
was helpful. This is the place where you can find little pieces of my soul. That's what I once
heard a poem is. A glimpse into a person's soul. And - to tell you the truth, I have yet to see
that this is not true. I hav always found that once I write a poem, there's a little piece of my
soul down on paper. Please be careful with these bits of me. Do not steal them or claim them as
your own. I place them here for you to read only. This is my soul . . . .
waiting
Lost and confused
Feeling out of herself
She wanders past the shiny people
The happy people
She watches them laugh
She watches them love
She wonders what so great about them
Why do they get to be content
Why do they get to have those theings she yearns for
She walks to the lake, the shiny morror
She sits beside it and waits for something, anything
Watching and waiting
Day after day
Yet nothing comes
Nothing stays
Yet she waits
For either life or death
Just something
To end the waiting
unfinished
Bringing the end of life
A new chill is in the air
Winter begins it's strife
Calling to creatures of shadow
Quickly now comes the dark night
Chasing away the safety of day
Extinguished and gone is the light
Roaming free can shadows be
A figure coalesces from the dark
Cloaked and hidden from eyes of night
Swift and sure, his path leaves no mark
All creatures fleeing his approach with speed
All but one, a mere slip of a girl
Standing firm, she awaits him
Her long skirts the wind does swirl
Her head high, dark eyes fired with will
Need more bits of my soul? Move on . . . .
Cracks
Yet More Cracks
Choose thy path. Choose wisely. Reflections is the beginning, the Heart is a story, the mind is - a law unto itself . . .

Please visit his site by clicking on the banner below. He is an amazing artist and I love his work.
All graphics and words here are 1997-2001 to ShadowLight unless otherwise stated. Please be kind
