Welcome to my soul. How have you liked your journey so far? I hope the guide you were assigned
was helpful. This is the place where you can find little pieces of my soul. That's what I once
heard a poem is. A glimpse into a person's soul. And - to tell you the truth, I have yet to see
that this is not true. I hav always found that once I write a poem, there's a little piece of my
soul down on paper. Please be careful with these bits of me. Do not steal them or claim them as
your own. I place them here for you to read only. This is my soul . . . .
broken flower
darkness envelops twilight
a soft velvet breeze lingers
the ancient sorcery of passion haunts
a candle flame emerges from shadows
a lady revealed, a pale rose
bewitching scent, a magical shimmer
a crimson dream, a delicate flower
sensual fantasy turned reality
bare creamy skin, naked slender frame
a nymph in the midnight dusk
reflected in the mirror surface
an image captured by the river goddess
melancholy emotion touches lovely features
deep sadness echoes from painfilled eyes
candle flame extinguished by the goddess
lilting breeze skates through dark hair
a shining tear caresses the river lady
aching, lost - a primal scream drifts
shivering, the broken flower plunges
accepting lovingly, the river goddess embraces
nothing left, only the velvet breeze upon the mirror
A small vent
A small, soft gasp
A suppressed shudder
A quick glance about an empty room
A heart beating fast
An emotion unknown
A tear down a cheek
A soft murmur of words unheard
A deep breath taken
An attempt for peace
An attempt unsuccessful
A need for a certain voice
A desire to be held
A desire to hold
A longing for something far away
A wish to no longer be alone
Long days and nights
Spent alone and lost
Spent tired and resigned
Long had this been too much
Long had this seemed a sign
A soft word
A soft caress
Such small things
Yet, long had they been gone
Long had they been absent
One day
One night
A hope
A dream
A wish
Need more bits of my soul? Move on . . . .

Choose thy path. Choose wisely. Reflections is the beginning, the Heart is a story, the mind is - a law unto itself . . .
